What If? so Why Waite?

Why Waite Ministry was inspired by Alex, our 13 year old son, who went home to be with our Lord and Savior on August 14, 2007.  Alex was a very strong Christian who saw no denomination and no color.  We discovered so many things that Alex had done before his homegoing, that there are just not enough words to tell.  He touched so many lives in his short time here on earth and is still touching lives today.

Alex told me a few months before his passing that he did not know what he wanted to do when he grows up.  He didn't know if he wanted to be a teacher or a preacher.  He was Chaplain for the Y-Club at the middle school that he attended.  He witnessed to different students (one in particular) was a Hindu.  Others were non-believers.  So I would say he did his preaching and now what he has left behind is his teaching.  He has certainly taught me alot.

The ministry is the legacy that he left behind.

The ministry verse is Proverbs 3:5.  We could have so easily not trust the Lord, but we leaned upon Him and that is why we are where we are today.

FYI:  Waite is spelled with an "e" on the end due to one of the drawings Alex had drawn.  He had underneath that drawing the question "Why Waite?".

We are ALL family.......... ..

We all have just one Savior.  Only God knows what is in your heart.  It is He to judge, not us.  It is our job and duty to reach people to Christ.  If we show love, then we show Christ in us and His love.  That is going to make people thirsty and want to know more.  How do we want God to judge us?  Do we want Him to judge us being a racist or full of love.  What are you doing today to show God's love?  Does He really live in your heart?  If not, ask Him now.  He has been patiently waiting for you.
